چکیده

Since 2008, soil and water treatment ecological restoration have been applied in the karst areas of Southwest China, but effect treatments fault basins is not clear. As a typical watershed faulted basin, studying influence landscape pattern changes on runoff sediment yields Nandong underground river system (NURS) helps to establish relationship between changes. It provides theoretical basis effective method for management assessment, basins. The vegetation topographic factor (VTF) was constructed using normalized index (NDVI), digital elevation model (DEM) water-system map from 2000 2018. On VTF classification, (VTLI) calculated FRAGSTATS software, effects VTLI NURS yield were analyzed. study found following: (1) PD, IJI, LSI SHDI positively correlated with (p < 0.01), correlation coefficients 0.693, 0.668, 0.551 0.582 0.62, 0.635, 0.627 0.63, respectively. AI CONNECT significantly negatively −0.551 −0.596, −0.627 −0.446, LPI DIVISION discharge, 0.05), −0.179 0.271, (2) interpretation increased 0.639 0.778, transport decreased 0.809 0.613. (3) In urban areas, persistent. basin mountain edge area. mountainous unchanged, has an antipersistence trend. project had achieved obvious results, change production reduced production. capacity conservation high slope area recovered showed trend sustainable development. Due expansion brought about by economic development, around city declined, it development Policymakers should strengthen environment coordinate within areas.

Regime Shift Identification of Runoff and Sediment Loads in the Yellow River Basin, China

Runoff and sediment loads have exhibited significant changes over the past six decades in the Yellow River Basin, China. The current study evaluates the changing trends and regime shifts in runoff and sediment loads at both the annual and monthly time scales. The associated spatial and temporal variations are analyzed by a sequential t-test analysis of the regime shifts (STARS) approach and the...

simulation of runoff and sediment yield in haraz river basin in mazandaran using swat model

introduction simulations of river flow and understanding different components of hydrologic cycle are important for programming of the conservation aspects of water resources. since the study area is located in the site of dam construction, the estimation of rainfall runoff and sediment yield are very important for better management of water resources. therefore, in this study, the swat model w...

Sediment yield mapping in a large river basin: the Upper Yangtze, China

A number of studies have mapped sediment yield at global or regional scales using sediment load measurements from rivers. However, the suitability of the limited mapping methods has not been fully addressed, particularly for large river basins where the sediment load data were obtained from a hierarchical river network. This study examines some of the issues related to the mapping approaches us...

Runoff and sediment yield modeling using WEPP in a semi-arid environment (Case study: Orazan Watershed)

Water erosion is a major environmental problem in many parts of the world. Majority of semi-arid countries are concerned because of their specific climate and soils sensitivity, but also because of the recent intensification of human activities and agricultural practices. Accurate estimation of water erosion for various land-use and climate scenarios is so an important key to define sustainable...
